INFORMATION PROCESSING - Merge/Purge

Some people call it deduping, others call it consolidation, and some refer to it as merge/purge.  No matter what the name, in it's simplest form it serves to remove duplicate data.  However, this technology can be greatly expanded to generate a powerful new list from a variety of sources.  Sophisticated matching algorithms and logic criteria can be set up to suppress records, create a multibuyer list, extract or salvage information from one source and append it to another, and more.  Detection does not have to be based soley on address data, but instead could be coupled with or used independently on criteria like social security number, keycode, phone number, and income.
