Unlike CASS Certification which is used to correct delivery address information, NCOA is used to make sure intended recipients get their mail when they move.  NCOA stands for National Change of Address and is a United States Postal Service product.  This information comes from Change of Address forms filled out by individuals or businesses and submitted to their local post offices.

Per customer request or USPS regulations, data is pre-processed under the NCOA program to get the most current mailing address.  This is an alternative to ancillary service endorsments, such as "Address Correction Requested", printed on directly on the mailface. The advantage is that the correct delivery address is placed on the outbound mail before entering the mailstream thereby saving money in the long run and ensuring timely delivery.
