Tabbing

Tabs are most often placed on mailpieces to allow them to be processed on high-speed postal sorting equipment without being damaged - this is part of the automation discounts the United States Postal Service offers.  Tabs may also be used to keep loose contents from falling out of unsealed carrier pieces such a newsletters or magazines.

Stamping

Many organizations prefer the "personal" look that traditional postage stamps provide. Stamps are available for First Class and Standard Class mail.  In addition, the same process used to apply postage stamps can be used to apply roll-based stickers.

Stickers and tabs are available in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors and materials.
